I have not seen it here but Col. Bruce Hampton also died. ... and in a way that was most bizarre and yet fitting.

Some way to go, huh? Dying in the middle of a show and carried off the stage. Hope I am not too morbid here, but many entertainers are joking about leaving like this.

Jesus, i just read the news about Chris Cornell  :'(
I was finally going to see Soundgarden live again next week, it had been two decades since i'd last seen them live...  :'(

That's really sad.

My boyfriend had tickets to see joy division when Ian Curtis did the same thing. He kept the tickets.

My cousin has the tickets, i told him to not return mine if/when they start doing refunds.

You won't regret keeping them. It is a nice tribute to him, to know you would have been there for him if he could have found his way through this awful disease that is depression.

Very sad.

He also directed Stop Making Sense, one of the best concert films I've ever seen (among so many other great films).

I saw that show live in a very intimate setting and that movie is so close to the real show it's unbelievable.

Watched the film. The opening version of Psycho Killer is wicked. Now maybe that's something to try ....

We are all saddened by this atrocity, as a parent who takes my teenage daughter to concerts it's really hit home, however, with respect, there's no need for the political comment.
