Just found out that Michael Nyqvist passed away last week.
Most will know him from the Millenium series (Mikael Blomkvist), Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol (Kurt Hendricks) or from John Wick (Viggo Tarasov), or maybe if you're into 'foreign' films, you might know him from Så som i himmelen (As It Is In Heaven, where he played Daniel Daréus).

His lines in John Wick have taken on near legendary status amongst meme-inclined gamers, mostly because of this scene :

Language Alert !! F-bombs aplenty !! Hide the children !!

... and Martin Landau also..

RIP

Funny story about NOTLD. well not funny.. .. The movie was showing.. this was the original when it first came out... anyway .. we were just dumb kids... one of our friends father had died... by that night we are goofing around and decide to go to the movie. So my cousin says, call our friend and see if he wants to go... Not thinking I go ok,,, pick up the phone... "Hey, we are going to see Night of The Living Dead, do you want to go?" Obviously that went over real well.

Vale Dr G Yunupingu. Australia's most prominent Indigenous musician dies aged 46.

Your music, love, humility and genius is imprinted in hearts across the world. You gave so much of who you are. Your music will live forever.

To quote a close friend of his "Questions need to be asked about how this could happen. It's a failure of all of us that we have lost such an amazing human being," he said. "I feel he was trapped in the same cycle of bad health that so many Indigenous people are trapped in."

The Aboriginal tradition and his family asks that we do not share his traditional name or picture of his face after passing in respect.

Wishing you a peaceful journey back to Country Yunupingu. Deepest respect.

Just saw that Glen Campbell passed away. Not entirely unexpected.

I really liked him. I truly think if I could pick one person's voice, it may be his.

He could pick him some guitar, too.
