It was not political. It was the sad stark reality we live in.

Every other death in this thread has a cause of death attached as has every one for years.

If you are unable to speak of or deal with this specific cause that doesn't make it political.

RIP Gregg.
I'm a huge fan of the Allman Brothers. Was a sad day when Duane pass away and even sadder now that
Gregg is gone. They both have influenced so many musicians.

He had a great career, even married Cher for a week.

That's Noakes. Get down, Shep. Waaaaay too much dog love going on there, for sure.

My era of kids TV, engaging bloke who had fun doing his thing. 83 - a good knock as they say in cricket.

No idea why I typed Knoakes instead of Noakes, I even checked the spelling first, doh.

John Noakes has passed away  :'(

What's worse is that i only knew the man because of a song Victoria Wood did on The Secret Policeman's Other Ball, where she mentions him...  :-[
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVce8oH24aE

(and i for one keep wondering how i found that show, considering it was filmed two years before i was even born, my parents had never heard of it, and yet i somehow had it on VHS in 1990...)

As for Gregg Allman, i only just got that on the local news...
Only 4 days late  ::)

And the Netherlands lost another singer and entertainer...
Requiescat in pace, Sandra Reemer.
(the folks here who remember the Eurovision song contest entries from the 70's might remember her name, she represented us three times)
