Questions...
Justin talks about a different fingering for the G chord in this song.
My problem is that pinky finger barely moves while my ring finger frets the 6th string.
I just cant get it down to the 1st string, only if
my ring finger comes along.

Is this a beginner problem wich goes away over time or is my dexterity somewhat limited?

Just play a regular G chord.
It'll sound fine because it is right.
Your finger dexterity will improve with work and practice.
