Backing Tracks
« on: January 14, 2015, 12:49:44 am »
Hi all ... Any recommendations to where / what  best tracks can be found and advice when to / not to use .... Should solo performers drop them and rely on what they generate live or use them to build upon ????

I like to use the Karaokeversion Website because I can download individual tracks and listen to the guitar parts without the rest of the track, and play along with them until I figure them out. Then replace them with my own guitar.
I dream of a better tomorrow where chickens can cross roads without their motives being questioned.

Like Ray I use http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/

There's normally a couple of tracks for each song, certainly the ones I've downloaded. You might get drums, bass, rhythm and vocals or just drums and bass (and possibly vocals) - useful when you playing the rhythm. Hope that helps 8)

You can also just punch in "guitar backingtrack" or jamtack on youtube. LOADS of videos of high quality. Add the key when searching too if you want specifics.
