I reallly like the song lessons for Uke. Has Jason Lost interest in making them? I would really love to see these in the book made into video lessons.

Also could you please answer the question - do strumming patterns for guitar work just as well on the uke?

Thanks for everything guys.

Andrea, I just started on the uke last week - my song book is on its way. I've found that a lot of the Strumming patterns seem to work - old faithful, for example, comes across just fine.
Squier Custom II Telecaster, Vox AC4, Vox Wah, Bad Monkey overdrive, Belcat Analog Delay, MXR Phase 90, Behringer Tremolo, Ditto X2 looper, MXR Dyna Comp, Boss TU3, bashed-up acoustic, Keyser and Shubb capos, picks, Voodoo Labs PP2

Thanks doc. I guess I should watch more of the guitar tuts. I haven't been watching them lately.

I don't know what you mean by Old Faithful, sorry. I guess its jsut one of the standard strumming patterns.

It is RUST #9 in the old Beginner's Course or Strumming DVDs. D DU UD. 1 2 and and 4. Check out the Rhythm lessons in the Beginner's and Intermediate courses to start. The uke is slowly opening up to me, but until the song book arrives my education is bad to the scattershot of random YouTube lessons.

There seems to be a gap in the market for a comprehensive structured Beginner's course.

There is a comprehensive, structured Beginner's Course.

20 quid in the UK, and a bargain at that price.
