I’m trying to play the famous riff from this song. Could someone help me with the TAB. Are they slides, bends or hammer ons? In the song they sound like hammer ons.

The notation 9 / 11 indicates a slide up, if it were a bend there would usually be a b by it, hammer on would be a h by it.

As Darrell says, every 9 -- 11 is a slide.
On the places where the 11 is in a bracket on the other side of a new bar line that is a note you don't play - it is sounding because it is sustained from the prpevious bar when it was played (att he end of the slide).
Same thing for the other note in a bracket - it is not itself played but it sounds from the previously played note being sustained in duration.

Oops sorry for link, could you please remove it Richard? I forgot about that particular lesson (probably because I knew TAB already).

One more thing. Why are some of the numbers in a smaller font?

I think that it’s because you’re sliding into the important note so it’s more of a grace note.
