Nice lick! I wonder if anybody could tab the extra bit Justin does at the end. This would be great!

Just want some clarification on the count at 3min30sec.

The first two times Justin counts in 1+2+3e+a4e+1+2+34.

The third time it is 1+2+3+a4e+1+2+34.

From memory I would be guessing its the first one. Could someone verify this please.

Cheers

So the C# (3rd) is the note that makes this lick sound bad on a D-chord.

What if I play a D instead of a C# in the lick. Would that sound ok over a D-chord?

@jeanneot18 What bit? up to 20 seconds? That's just a bit of minor pentatonic improvising. Have a go a throwing some improv around the lick yourself.

@ curemat
Justin counts differently you're right, but it matters not, he is just indicating that in the middle of the lick are some 16ths

@ perfopt ... if it sounds good it is good ... play it and make up your own mind on that one.

I have transcribed the part that jeannot18 is referring to. Would it be a violation of policy to post the tab? If not, I can post it (though it is a lot more fun trying to transcribe :-))
