Last day tomorrow. Gonna do some last minute tracking before I send in my other two mixes. I purchased a tambourine/beatring because I've wanted one for ages and I'm gonna record it for one of the mixes. I was gonna do another mix but I never got around to actually doing it. :D

Cue, that folk-pop mix is cool! :)

the pseudo jazz is a nice approach but it could have gone a little deeper, a bit more notes perhaps.
It has a strong "nothing else matters" feel to it but that aint a bad thing.

Good job!

Thanks!

TB, that's a pretty cool mix. I've never seen anything close to that name on the forums here. Perhaps it's someone subscribed to the newsletter or following the website only?

Lieven, more notes as in nicer chords or some more melody going on through the interludes? I could've done the chords slightly better with voice leading and such, but I couldn't get much melody going for some reason.

I thought he said he was going to announce it today, glad it's him and not me that has to pick one.

You said you got a bonus point, what is that?

A little figure Marcus played during the solo for two bars with two guitars.  I'm sure there's no actual points involved but it sounded pretty slick.

Alright Cue, now aren't you glad you came out of retirement!

I agree with winner choice ... that was a well done mix.

Lots of interesting arrangements by everyone.  Congrats to all you HM's and to the winner.

Congratulations guys; you didn't win but you've got mentioned! :)

Besides Cue and Chantal, are there others who were mentioned that come around here?

I didn't recognize any names, but with exception of few, if they didn't use their screen name I wouldn't know who they were anyway.

Congrats to the winner.

I think his entry was the only entry that changed the progression of the song.

The mix sounded good too. First time I heard it, I thought ok that's the winner... didn't want to say anything though.

Woo-hoo! I'm a runner-up! :3

Thanks everybody, also for the support prior to submission.

Yes, I'm quite glad that I came out of retirement. I'll start putting some more time into this once again.

I changed the progression in all my mixes BTW, sone more than the other.

I did really like the chord progression that the winner used.
