BIG NEWS.

They have been asked to play at this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.

https://schedule.sxsw.com/2020/events/MS51457

UPDATE

Bad news.

COVID-19 and the US travel ban mean they have had to cancel this and will also lose £1000 each from their booked travel / accommodation etc ... unless there is some clause that allows them to claim it back.

:(

I am pretty sure there is something they can do. Because they are not even cancelling because of the virus. They are prevented from coming by US. So there should be "consumer rights clause" applicable here.

EDIT: I thought they are not directly cancelling because of the virus but because of the virus-related ban in the USA. Misunderstood the "...covid-19 AND US travel ban..."

UPDATE:

Dreadful news.

Zach (singer with King No-One) was mugged and beaten unconscious with a crowbar. He lost two pints of blood and had his laptop taken - which contained all of his songs and music.
Here is the story in the Manchester Evening News: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/singer-left-unconscious-pool-blood-18078343

Here is a crowdfunder that a fan set up to help out:

Thanks for helping if you can.

That is just awful. I really hope he gets that laptop back, and even more importantly, that he's really okay. What an evil thing to do. Hate to read this.

Absolutely awful and in the current environment as well..from the article looks like he's recovering well and at least out of hospital. Would like to think they'll recover the laptop if he's got tracking turned on. Fingers crossed.

So sorry to read this Richard
I've been following them via your posts- very talented lads and sounds like decent bloke too.
I'm impressed he's trying to make sense of what drives people to do this, rather than the all too easy response of scumbags/lock'em up & throw away the key  :(
Wishing him speedy recovery of health and tunes.

Thanks for all your good wishes.

Zach is recovering ... and he and Joe are right now live streaming a 'distance concert' from their flat.

Glad to see they are still going strong even with limited (none?) live music going on at the moment. I really love their latest video, quite creative!

Still unsigned and doing all the hard work on their own?

Yes - still unsigned and independent.

They took a new path for this song and opened it up to 'buying shares' via Corite.

That option is still live and available for a few more days I think here

I missed your reply. Read through the link, that's actually a very interesting concept. Quite curious to see how it unfolds for them.
