I loved the cover - but what I loved even more was seeing how much he still enjoys playing guitar. He was completely in his element, comfortable, and looked genuinely happy.  :)

I think he plays for other people. I was thinking Bryan Ferry but I think that was Robin Trower... but I thought PF was playing with some other big name... maybe not.

He may do session work, but this is his band: http://www.frampton.com/band/

I've been following him on Facebook for a couple years. I think he just finished a tour with Cheap Trick.

Accurate.

That's really good. I love the almost percussive nature of the vocals.

Ok, it's a little dorky, but Brand New Key is one of my favorite cover songs. I just love to see how new generations do it. It's such an innocent sounding song, but the metaphor is anything but.

Rasputina performing. This was early to mid 90s based on costume and cellists. It's not a great recording, but captures the live feel.

The Dollyrots. Not sure the year on this, but post 2005. Is it sad to say this is one of my favorite bands?

If you do not know The Backyard Sessions you should check it out on youtube. Loads of good stuff there.
I am not a big fan of Miley Cyrus per se but I think she made a great cover of Jolene:
