This came by in my YouTube mix which I've been checking out for the past few days and realized this was never posted here. It was from before I liked Mumford and Sons and I still don't know which songs she actually covered by now.

Cover of Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" done on old floppy and hard drives:

I really like the way Tracy Chapman covers this song:

I dream of a better tomorrow where chickens can cross roads without their motives being questioned.

Glen Campbell is one helluva guitarist.  Funny thing is I never knew it even though I was growing up during the time his career was peaking (late 60s early 70s)  Mom had hI'm playing at the house and he was all over on the (AM) radio. Would not have guessed he was as good a guitarist as he actually is... found out much much later...

I was mixing monitors on an outdoor show in California somewhere on the 4th of July in 2000. Glen Campbell was the opener and I was mixing every act EXCEPT Glen Campbell. When he was done with his set, his monitor engineer muted every single mute button he could find on the Alan and Heath console. Since it was an outdoor show and the lights were shining on the console, I couldn't see the mute lights. The next act came on.. I was up. I had gotten sound checks and had a good idea where to start for each act. I PFL'd my cue wedge and had the mics in it. Band starts.. NO MONIORS!! I checked the amps.. they had power lights. I checked the outboard rack, all the power lights and volumes were up.. WTF!  Finally, I put my hand over the mute lights to shield them from the sun and there they were, lit up like a Christmas tree.. It's was one of the most stressful 15 or 30 seconds of my life..
