Just wanted to echo what Justin says and writes about this song:

It IS really HUGE fun.

Had a great time learning this!

Thx!

The song starts D-D-D-E-E-E-D-D-D-E-E-E.

It seems simple enough with notes all equally spaced, but I can't seem to get it with 16th note strumming and correct foot tapping. According to the rock songbook it something like:

1   +   2   +   3   +   4   +

Which doesn't help much. I get the strums on beats 1 and 3, but it seems like the rest of the strums aren't exactly on the "ands" nor the "e's" or "a's". If you think about it they couldn't be and end up with the equal note spacing.

Any suggestions, I just can't seem to get it.

Are the notes evenly spaced, I think the changes between D and E are closer together, like this

1 e @  a  2  e @ a 3 e @ a 4 e @ a
X.        X.         X     X        X.      X

I found the easiest way with this was to learn the fingering of all the riffs and then play along to it on youtube to get the timing.
