Question about when to start this course
« on: April 01, 2013, 05:46:16 pm »
I've completed the Beginner and Intermediate courses and I want to know if I need to do the Blues Rhythm, Blues Lead or Fingerstyle courses on the website before I start this course

It is not necessary, but I would recommend the Folk Fingerstyle first. It will facilitate learning this course later.

Then, the Blues Lead and Rhythm work well if they are studied together, as it gives your hands and your practice schedule a more well rounded structure, so you are not just practicing licks and bends and rolling while ignoring rhythm, for example.

Depends on what you want to play more, but both courses are important to me.

I'd go straight to rythm blues if I were you because I'm more into blues than finger style + blues is a rite of initiation for any guitarist ;). Doing rythm+solo blues at the same time is a good idea. But if you really have to choose, try rythm blues first :).
