Hi all,

I'm new to transcribing, but started playing guitar (with Justin) in 2014. So I've been playing regularly for the last 6 and half years including improvising, soloing, all minor penatatonic positions and playing in a band.

I'm really flying through this course... and am now a bit concerned that I am missing something here or there. Justin says it schould take me a couple of weeks to get through the exercises and that I probably should make lots of mistakes.

But I'm now done with this lesson in something like a week and made no mistake at all. Today I did the last exercise in 15 minutes (H), no mistake at all.

The point is I think it should be hard, but for me it's really easy. I suppose this has to do with the fact I've been playing for a couple of years now?

It will be harder pretty soon ;-)

I do want to say I like the course. Love doing the transcribing, hope this lasts.

Regards,

Hi de_conne ... glad you're doing so well. If you have flown through this it may be a sign that over the years of playing you have really developed your ear and the connections to the fretboard. :)

Hi Close2u,

Good to see you're still here as well.
My activity on the forum has somewhat decreased the last 4 years, but my guitar activity has remained (with ups and downs  ::) ) somewhat the same.

But for learning new stuff and further developing my guitar skills I keep coming back to Justin.

Transcribing seems very important and I think that I'm at a level that I should be getting in to this...

Anyhow, good vibes for you for your years of service  ;)

regards,
