Hey everybody. I'd like to try to help with Dutch translations. Is there anything I should know, or should I just pick a video or lesson?
Hi Greenish,
Thanks so much for your interest in helping us out with translations, we really appreciate all the help we get
Firstly sorry for the late response, like I said we do really appreciate all the help we get but unfortunately these last couple of months management of the translations has taken a back seat whilst there's been a lot of work to do on the website.
If you're still in doubt hopefully this will help:
Are you a member of Amara? If not have a look here as to how to join our Translation Team,
http://www.justinguitar.com/translation-team/join_team.phpAlready a member of Amara...If you're already a member then yep!

you can just go for any Dutch translation tasks that are available. Keep to translation tasks for now, and you can do reviewing tasks later on , if you'd like, once you're more familiar with the system.
To start tasks follow these guidelines:
Go to:
http://www.universalsubtitles.org/en/teams/justinguitarClick on the 'Tasks' tab to see a list of translation / transcription / review tasks to do.
You can narrow the search for tasks by using the Filter and Sort' option!
On the right of the task you’d like to do, click on ‘Perform task’.
When you begin the task, Please do not skip the video!! These short instructional videos and guidelines will guide you through how to make the edits.
Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines (below link) before beginning any tasks.
