Please, I would like to ask if someone could explain how Justin plays the introduction (12 first seconds of the video BS-507) in the song "Going Down Slow"?

The Tab is right there in Justin's note below the vid, you'll need to study that and watch the vid closely. I doubt it would be any easier having someone try and explain it.

What exactly do you need explaining? Watch the video and look at the tabs. Or don't you know how to

It's a standard blues intro/turnaround.

Slide your middle and ring finger up to the third fret and anchor your pinky on the third fret e string.
Just like the tabs say. Use your index finger to barre the second fret and leave your pinky anchored
on the third. Just like the tabs say. Slide your index finger down to the first fret leaving your pinky
anchored on the third fret. Play open strings just like the tabs say and you guessed it leave your
pinky anchored on the third fret. Do a standard walk up on the A string 0 3 4 to and D7 chord.

Add funny faces for dramatic effect and practice, practice, practice.

If this doesn't help google Blues turn around there are thousands of them and they're all worth learning.

Really like learning the song! As a beginner, I'm struggling a little with the intro as well (but really keen to learn it as sounds very cool). I just wanted to confirm what the techniques being used were.

The main technique I'm not sure about was to play two strings at once. It looks like the thicker string is played with the pick while the thinner string is played with the 2nd or third finger. Is it similar to Lick #5 found under Awesome Licks on Justin's site (LK-005-Static Root Blues)  which Justin calls hybrid picking?

Can anyone tell me what Justin is doing in the the song where he adds the little embellishment to the the g7 chord? Is he adding his pinky/ring in on the b string?

Pinky third fret of the high e. That just makes it a regular G.

He is definitely playing the 3rd fret B string within a little open B, 3rd fret B, 1st fret E melody run that he is playing.
These three notes are not picked individually but are emphasised within some shortened strums focussing just on the thinnest two or three strings.

Ah that sounds more complicated than it looks - I was hoping it was like in Hey Joe where you add a note in as you strum and it gives it a little hightlight

You can absolutely do it like that.
You can also extend the 3 note thing and make a little loop of the notes:

F - B - D - F or B - D - F - B - D - F etc around once, twice, several times.
You have to get the timing right to start the little riff motif.
It will vary depending on whether you start on the F note or start on the open string B note.
