Apparently I like this. I've been playing this loudly over and over for the past few days.

If you follow the RIP thread, you'll know my favourite local (South African) artist just passed.  This morning I have been surfing YT, enjoying his music and confess shedding a tear or two ...

This is perhaps a happier tune than is posted in the RIP thread, get a sense of the other side of his playing.  There's also a little bit of a biography right at the end for those curious.  Note that this song does use the F word in the lyrics once or twice ...

Stormzy Glastonbury.
I'm trying to get into what he does but it's not easy.
I think he's a good person

Ha- You're a bit slow out of the traps!  :P
That was posted this morning- but in the 'most recent purchases' thread rather than AVOYP, partly due to lesser artistic merit  ;)

I'm revisiting the music of Don McLean. But not American Pie, Vincent or Crying. Great songs indeed but I wanted to get into his lesser known songs. This one I'm posting is called, "Till Tomorrow" and is absolutely one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The only problem...it's so short at only 2:14. I've played it half a dozen times in a row. Enjoy this gem.

I'll be honest, American Pie is really the only DM song I had heard.    I've heard of Vincent but I don't know it.

This is a beautiful song, thank you.  I'm going to go on a Don McLean discovery myself once I'm finished with Till Tomorrow!

I have one to share myself an Australian brothers group.  Next post.  Thanks hilts.

The Teskey Brothers for your enjoyment.   Grab a drink or cup of tea or whatever and take a listen to these brothers from Australia.  The song is called crying shame.   The singer has a voice that will take you back.   Take a listen.  If you like a bit of soul and blues , you'll love these guys.
