On international workers' day this is sadly just as relevant today as it was when it was written. Windrush and the Trump's wall, two sides of the same coin.
Thanks for sharing, Keith ... thought-provoking indeed.  I am resisting an impulse to share my thoughts, as I reckon it would be straying from the norms of discussion for this Community.  Setting aside the message of the song, wonderful performance, inspirational how moving a single guitar and singer can be.

Picked this up from Acoustic Guitar weekly email, another finger-picker that dazzles and astonishes.  If the instrumental virtuosity isn't your thing then skip ahead till he plays the second song.

Yesterday, I re-discovered this very beautiful song from Donovan. Man, what a great song!

Been listening to Sturgill Simpson almost exclusively for more than a month. I think I listened to Sea Stories about a hundred times in a row. I can hear it in my head now, every lick and nuance. Incredible song. I did the same with Turtles All The Way Down and Panbowl. I’ve listened to all of his stuff many times, but man those three songs just resonate for some reason.
Insert humorous signature here.

I'm on a Donovan kick lately. Give a listen to this under-rated gem.

I’m a big fan of Taimane but this is just so good, the blend of the two instruments is just perfect!

My singing sucks so I’m learning Guitar and Ukulele, it’s fun 🌟

Rick Springfield - The Snake King.

Great Bluesrock album. This one could be a great strumming and foot tapping lesson by Justin  :)

Listening to some fellow Canadians lately - Neil Young's Hitchhiker, and Harvest Moon, and 4 CDs by an indie Folk Collective from Vancouver, The Fugitives ( https://www.fugitives.ca ). I've not been lucky enough to see NY (yet!), but  I did see the Fugitives a few months ago when they were touring across Canada. I bought their CDs, put them away, and just recently took them out and started listening to them. Anyway they're a great little band, they tour a bunch in Canada, the UK, and Europe. I highly recommend their show if they come through your town.

As a fellow Canadian, I implore you to make it your mission to see Neil in concert. I've seen him 4 times over the years. He is a living legend and one of our national treasures. You will really enjoy seeing him live.

The Fugitives are an excellent band too!

A Neil Young concert is on my Bucket List Hilts!

Up here in Northwestern Ontario we don't get a lot of big names locally so travel is generally a must. This summer though our Blues Fest has such a great lineup - including Melissa Etheridge, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, and The Magpie Salute - and I won't be able to go!! There's always next year ... :)
