I've been getting into the Beatles and a guy named Mac demarco. My favorite song by the Beatles currently is strawberry fields forever. For Mac I really like dreamin and one another. He's a really unique guitar player with really flowing and vibrato/slide/Bend playing. Dreamin has a wonderful acoustic rendition done by him that I'm currently learning. 'One another' is another good one, with his live performance on a talk show probably being his best performance of it

My Dad found this in his files while sorting out some old files.

Willie Nelson, live, from 1972 (the year before I was born). I think it shows some great guitar work. It's one of those rare pieces of music that starts out fast, ramps up in the middle, and the last 30 seconds sounds like a freight train bearing down on you. I think even non-country music fans should be able to appreciate it. I hope the file works -- my first time uploading to this service.

I was afraid that might happen. I'll try to find out how to share publicly and then will repost.

Okay, this should work now (especially for Batwoman and DavidP). Sorry for my technical incompetence last go-round. haha

Currently can't stop listening to Pearl Jam. Seeing this MTV unplugged got me right back in to them. An amazing band that just keeps going and going.

Thanks for following this through phx. I intend learning Blue Skies, Willy Nelson style, still a bit too fast for me.

That would be great, Batwoman. I’ve also looked at learning Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain. Probably one of the easier Willie songs. You should check that one out.
