+1 to what close2u just said.  That is very good.  Who is playing the piano?  I don't think it really needs much else adding to it.

Good on you, Pat.
I can contribute in many ways, and I don't care to contribute to different versions with different instruments and stuff. Just let me know. I'd be up for a bluegrass version. xD

Sounds a lot better.

You don't need me though, the bass line in it is fine already.

Hi Pat,

I just want to sit in a dimly lit little bar, suppin' JD, whilst listening to you and the piano player - brilliant.

I wouldn't mind having a sing along though.

All the best,
Digger

What Digger said, except for the sing along  ;D

That sounds really great, well done.

That's a really good tune. It's impressive to see where this thread started out and what it's evolved to. Real good work PattheBunny. And I think your singing is excellent on this track. :)

That sounds really good Pat. So where are the drums and bass coming from? I know that's your piano teacher but what is the rest? Garageband?

Anyway it sounds good. Your vocal sound lacks a little clarity but that's a mic/eq thing and not your singing per se.

If I were you, I would keep working on that one just like it is until you completely nail the vocal floating over the whole thing just like you want it.

I'm so happy for the positive feedback but I'm also a little confused.  I wanted us to do a song together and I'm afraid everyone thinks why bother since this one has a track already.    Yes I can get the vocal better in time, but did I mess up so that nobody wants to play guitar for this?  (From the 5 means it's a D7 C7 G7 shuffle. )

I really am fairly green and really don't easily get the steps to creating a song track.  I wanted this thread to learn with, and I have learned alot.  But not how to put together a song track.

Got performance class tonight.  Maybe something will become clear.
Realism is relative.

From the 5 means start on the 9th  bar of a normal 12 bar blues which is usually your V chord.

Awesome! Like for me, it sounds like a finished song - perfect and very professional, and anything more to be added.
