Just an FYI for anyone playing the rest of the song, the chords for the chorus are: G, Bm, C, D.

hurts my hand making the barr chord that close to the bridge. And I have trouble getting notes to ring out. Any idea why? I normaly don't have any trouble with barr chords

I have the same problem but I figure it out why.  Its cos the first finger is not flat enough to press all the strings down.  Normally, the 3rd and 4th finger are pressing the strings so that you won't notice if your first finger is forming a proper bar.  It reveal itself when u are pulling the string with your pinky finger.  Have to work harder. ;D
