I'm still having trouble with the strum pattern of La Bamba.  Could someone indicate using up and down arrows just how the strumming goes?

Numpty Alert!

I am having a heck of a job writing the tab out for the riff.
Despite following the video I seem to have right royally miffed it up :o

Of course it might be my timing, but if anyone could let me know what the riff is (tab if poss) I can sort out the timing knowing the notes are correct.

Thank you.

Still struggling a bit, I had to look for tab on the internet as I just could not decypher the tab from the video, but now I'm struggling with the timing!

Have you watched the whole video? At 1:20 Justin shows a close up of his hand and shows exactly
note for note how to play the riff. It can't get any simpler than "Start of with your third finger on the
third fret of the thickest string"

I can't work out what the G chord is in the strumming.  Any ideas?  Do you only strum the thickest strings for that chord?
