For the song No Woman, No Cry by Bob Marley - Justin says to busk the song in key of G with G D Em and C chords. Is this correct. I couldn't hear the chord combinations. Finally checked out Tabs and they all had G Am F and C chords.

Usually the song is in the key of C using the chords C Am F G. That's a I VI IV V  progression. If you switch that to the key of G you get G Em C D. Still I VI IV V.

Hi all,

in the goals section of IM 4 Justin mentions a string skipping exercise of some sort which one should be able to play at 60bpm before moving on the next stage. However, I cant recall that this exercise has been mentioned anywhere up this point during the course.

Does anyone no which exercise he is referring to?

Thanks a lot!

I think it's the Spider. Search on the website for it.

As per the lesson header

"You should now have all of your E Shape and A Shape Barre grips which means "pretty much most" songs are available for you to try out!"

you should just be working on the chord progressions for now. Hope that helps.  But  if you want the try the solos fine, just don't hold yourself back. Blues Lead and Master The Major Scales covers those skills in more depth.
