YES you should at ALL times!! lol.

Something else, im in IM4 and I really was getting bored with the G major scale.. so I decided to google for new patterns.. and guess where google led me

I now understand why Justin forced us to play the G major scale this long... I decided to try pattern 2 (d shape) and omg its so easy to implement! It's just amazing.... THANK YOU JUSTIN OMG
