Well here is a simple exercise to get you going, pentatonic scale in triplets:

I'm not sure if you can link to photobucket for a better view.  And I have a pdf I could send you.

Bottom line practice playing your scales in triplets with a metronome.

Here is a justin lesson on playing single note triplets

Are you counting? a 1 & a 2 & a 3 & a 4? If you actually count in triplets you will find it hard NOT to play in triplets.

Hey guys,

just a quick question. Can someone tell me what the key of the lick at 3:09 in the third video is? Or in what scale it is placed.

Edit: I might have figured it out. Should be the D minor Pentatonic in Box 1 and 2. Is this correct?

Thanks
Chris

Dm pentatonic.  Box 2 to Box 1.  Or D shape to E shape.

**Sorry for this post - just saw the sticky post about all tabs being removed**
Can some please tell where to download the tabs for this lesson?
TIA
Jim

I know this is an old thread and I know that the Tabs have all been now removed from the forum but I am wondering if anyone who has the Tabs would be willing to email them to me.  Any kind soul willing to do this?
Thanks in advance.

I have a few apps on my iPad, Guitar Pro and Tabs HD. I might have paid a relatively small amount for these (like a few dollars). They both have tabs do Layla, and I didn't need to pay extra for these. However the apps don't have export capabilities so I can't print or email them
