Amplifying an acoustic
« on: January 05, 2010, 02:23:17 pm »
Just bought a Weissenborn Lap Steel acoustic. Brilliant sounding guitar that I want to busk with and perform live with. However I need to choose a good acoustic pickup for it. Should I go for a sound hole pickup, or a transducer pickup?

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks.

Sound hole seems to be the generally favoured option. And it doesn't involve modifications to the guitar.

I'm using a single coil Seymour Duncan 'Woody' on my Yamaha F340 in a few of these videos...
