Now this was a quick listen & strum-along with notes scribbled along the way, so forgive any typos but feel free to correct them. I could easily be off in the C section but I think it's pretty close.
For soloing, I'd use this recipe:
* Section A = a straight G Ionian solo (or G Maj Pentatonic if you want to limit it to that)
* Section B = E Aeolian solo (or E Min Pentatonic, which is same as G Maj Pent)
* Section C = I'd stick with the C Maj Pentatonic here, and of course emphasize C, D, E, G since it's mostly Cadd2 material
with a walking bassline underneath.
