I tried the lastest link asylum posted, so it works for me.  ;)

Nice playing asylum, nice tone, and I love your rakes.  :D

Also, I especially loved the first 2 min.

The fast parts at the end were a little, I don't know, jerky. They still sounded good, but I think they could have been in time a little better.

Overall, You get an A in Blues playing. ;D  Nice Job, Well done mate.

P.S (How long have you been playing?)

Very nice smooth controlled playing; I like the little rake or whatever it is at 1:00 and towards the end.

If I’m completely honest, it was a little tame – maybe a variation in attack and speed here and there would have made it more interesting, but that’s just the particular style of blues that I’m into at the moment.

Good stuff and well done.

thanks for the comments  jimiclaptoncarl that was a first take and i agree with you the ending got me by suprise i was thinking so hard to come up with some new stuff and then wack the ending is upon me  ;)

I also like to play with a lot of attack but unfortunately thats quite difficult to achieve using jamvox, it being digital you lose a lot of attack and dynamics, hopefully ill get a recorder this year so i can record using my amp instead of jamvox.

ive been playing quite a long time but just messed around as a kid, only got semi serious about 8 months ago.

i find its also better  when you listen to recordings with a set of headphones as i find pc speakers quite inferior.

really good go at a 4-5 minute blues lead

great BT with ebb and flow allowing you to be gentle then hard in your playing

the gentle playing was better than the harder sections ... controlled and smooth

I would suggest this sound more fully rounded if you had some licks and phrases with big hitting bends and huge attack and vibrato on the 'resolution' notes

hi

Thanks close2u i know exactly what you mean the problem i cant get enough attack or sustain because im playing and recording through a jamvox wich is a digital software, otherwise those long held sustain bends would be in there, i find that when i get near the end of the guitar 17th fret up to the 22 nd fret thats where the jamvox is at its weakest, hopefully will get a recorder this year so i can record directly from my amp, thanks you for the kind words, cheers.

yeah this put a smile on my face :)

I also liked the rakes .. I find them hard to pull off myself,

and if the end suprised you, you did a great job of covering that up :p

I liked it.  Very laid back.  It must be quite hard too keep a solo going for 5 minutes.
