Well, hi, all. I'm Matt Drake, 14, and I live in a very small island in the middle of the Meditarranean - Malta. A lot of Brits like to visit it, maybe you've been? Anyway, I've been 'self-tutoring' myself with the guitar for about 10 years now, with help from my dad and many internet-aids and books (Thanks Justin). I, one day wish to professionally play the blues (apart from being a Cardio-pulminary diagnostician). My influences are Eric Clapton, Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, Bob Dylan, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, and Nirvana (amongst MANY others).

So, yeah.

when i was young and wanted to learn guitar i got NOOOOO support.  now that i'm a single parent, my mom thinks it's a great idea.  she's usually up in my business of how i spend my money, but now she says, "play guitar all you want, just don't have any more babies".

Wow, am I the youngest on the forum? I've seen pics of other members, and everyone's talking about business trips and kids - I suddenly feel...lonely!?
