I'll be making a short visit to Croatia in July, I've not been before.

We'll be flying into Rijeka where we'll hire a car and probably drive to Pula where we are planning to stay, any recommendations of things to must see or must do  :?:

pm me if you want to.

Regards

How long have you been playing guitar?
I started classical when i was 8, for family reasons i had to stop till i was about 17 playing drop tuned nu-metal. And then after watching the film crossroads when i was 18 decided to make it my life's passion.

Which is/are your favorite music genre(s)?
Rock and Metal of most genre's. But prog, grunge and neoclassical seem to be my root favs.

Which genre do you play on your guitar often?
Neo-classical late 70s rock and NWOBHM, however i spend alot of time doing jazz fusion exercises.

Who are your favorite bands?
My roots lye firmly in bands such as Silverchair, creed, cacophany, Aerosmith and the darkness.

What inspired you to start playing guitar?
A number of things such as the Bill and Ted films.  I mean Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey has God Gave Rock and Roll with a brief into by steve vai............ The film crossroads also literally caused me to get goosebumps with the dual at the end. And when i listened to Jason Becker for the first time i was totally floored. But then also going to gigs and seeing the adoration and worship of music, the impact of music and the power of the guitar itself in this magical instrument totally revolutionalised my direction in life.

Do you play in a band or have you been playing in a band?
Everyone where i live my age wants to play emo core, screamo and trivium esque stuff.  I just cant flow with that kind of stuff, however if there was an interest to play UFO and Judas Priest covers here i would be in there!

Why do you play guitar?
Gives me a sense of purpose, it is for me more than a hobby. And is in itself an artform that can take more than a life time to master and become a true vistuoso. It also gives me a great sense of acheivement when i cross certain hurdles in order to become the best guitarist i can be.  However if everything was to go right then my goal is to tour the world writting/performing music that truly effects people and would be forever timeless.  Everyone has to have a dream eh?

What are your goals for the future?
Near future = Join a guitar academy to help me become the best guitarist/musician i can be.
Far future= Be awesome
