As a beginner taking my first baby steps into the world of recording I found this article helpful. For many of you who are experienced I suspect it's obvious and basic  8)

Very good article. 8 and 9 are probably my favorite points.

That said, my bedroom happens to have the most stuff in it in the entire house and I keep adding more stuff. :P

Thanks for sharing, Maggie, some good information there.  The info about the room was useful to me as well as positioning of the mic in the room and for singing into.
