Title: Slash Pickups in an SG
Post by: Nanderson on June 05, 2011, 07:34:01 pm
Hi guys,

I recently bought a Gibson sg Special, and I want to put some new pickups in it. I want a guns n roses type of sound, but also great for ac/dc, led zeppelin, etc. I was thinking some Seymour Duncan Alnico II Slash pickup's would sound really cool in an sg, but I'm not positive. Any thoughts? What are some other pickup's to consider? Also, I use a Marshall Class 5, and don't plan on using anything else other than that for awhile.

Well I'm looking to get a set of BKP RIff Raffs in my Agile, and I read all over the BKP forums that the Riff Raffs in an SG give a great AC/DC tone. I'm not sure how well it would do GnR though.
