Title: after a webcam any ideas
Post by: marcus on July 01, 2010, 02:35:40 am
Hi all
just wondering what is a good webcam to get, i know you get what you pay for but i dont want to spend a fortune just want good pic quality and sound.
Any suggestions whether logitec or microsoft or maybe a different breed. I have pretty fast internet connection and i'd use it mainly for skype, not sure if they any good for recording. Is the in built mic any good or should i get separate one.
Sorry if its not the right place for this post

Thanks in advance

I have a Logitech Pro 9000.  Very decent, but quite old now.  Maybe you can find them at bargain prices.

I have a trust HD Webcam and it works very well with skype, has a built in light and mic.

Very good to simply record songs with and play back quality is first class.

Marcus, head to youtube and look for HD Webcam reviews
There's a lot of them out there.

Thanks for your input never thought about youtube for reviews but will have a gander. There's so much technology out there and hard to keep up with. Once again much appreciated for replies.
Take care

The Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 is one of the best mid-priced webcams. It has a Carl Zeiss lens.
