For my 40th birthday...
« on: March 06, 2012, 07:57:16 pm »
...it looks like I'm getting an Ibanez AS73 and a Fender Mustang I amp (especially after Justin's review of it).

I'm not a jazz guy, but I'm not a metal guy either, and I know this will be great for blues, rock and country. Played one yesterday at the local music store and fell in love. Great heft--feels very solid--and it's beautifully finished. Absolutely glows.

Oh yeah, it sounded great, too.  ;D

I ran off with the secretary for my mid-life crisis - but I guess a guitar works too :)

Nice :)

Happy 40th.

Thanks, all. Bootstrap, I don't have a secretary--the guitar will have to do!

Well, I like Van Halen, but it was really just a nickname given to me in high school (when they were Van Haggar) that was unrelated to the band. I've always used it for discussion forums.
