Is there anyway you could post the Tab/Rhythm for the first part of this lick?
The blues repeater lick (bend 3rd string, 2nd string - 1st string, 2nd string pull-off)?

I've been trying to play that correctly for years and I just can't seem to get the rhythm right since its 5 notes repeating quickly.

I guess what I mean is the notation (the rhythm), if you were to plays those 5 notes in a repeater(like Justin did in the video) how would it fit in a measure? I hope that makes sense

She shows and tells that in the video. He counts it out several times and even explains how the hammer on is counted.

He counts it's all 1 2 3 4 broken into triplets

1= One-Trip-let, = 14b 12 12
2= two-trip-let, = 15p 12 14
3= three-e-trip-let = 12h 13p 12 15
4= four-trip-let = 12 15p 12

One note per word.

Then he vocalizes it.

Break it down into sections. You really can't get it any more clear than that. Don't forget to use your ears.

I would learn beat 3 first. Get that hammer happening so it doesn't upset the three-trip-let feel.

You also have to be sure the fret 15 notes are played well and accented properly. If they are weak, it throws everything off.

Actually I made a slight error there too. the very first, as with many blues licks actually starts on the end of the prior bar.

So that first note is really and-one-trip-let. the words and-one = that first note bend up. the trip-let = the next two notes (12 fret b e string ).

14 bend = & 1
12 = trip
12 = let

I found when playing around with this lick, that it actually works (not only as position 1 in E blues), but as position 3 in B blues. ie. although this lick works over E as chord 1, it works just as well over E as chord 4.
That way you're not adding a 9th and a b9th, your just playing notes from the B blues scale (with that 'funny' note being the blue note - b5)

What I'd like is to see the tab not for this SRV lick but the one he says is a classic cliche at the start. He gives a quick play with it but doesn't explain how to do it in any detail. Is there any chance of getting some help playing that? I had hoped it might be around somewhere else on the site but if it is, I can't locate it.
Is it there or can someone tell me how to do it?
