Dude download it - for me it was epiphiny stuff - to be able to understand keys, how chords are constructed, how to work out notes on the fretboard and to understand the mysteries of the caged system - I just couldn't get enough of it!

Scale of 1-10? I would say an 11!

I got the book too and it put things together for me!  It really helps you to understand things and takes the frustration out of trying to learn theory which for some of us is a great intellectual feat!

Yep for me it is indeed an  intellectual feat.
I am finding the book most helpful its the kind of thing you need to read over and over until it sinks in.
This is a slow process for me,  but this book is the best Iv looked at by far.

I've been trying to learn guitar theory for a while. I own a small library of theory books but Justin's eBook is without doubt the best. I'd say the info it contains will take me around 6-12 months to really grasp.

Also, don't under estimate the value the message boards add to the learning process... they are tremendously helpful.

I bought this e-book, and I have to say its by far the best book I have found on guitar theory. I've learned a heck of a lot from it, and I often refer back to it as it serves as an excellent reference material.

Its very well written. Justin explains things in a very clear and concise manner and it cuts out the crap that other books generally have. Plus by buying it you are supporting this site, and as users of this site I'm sure we are all in agreement, we get a heck of a lot for free from this site so by giving something back we help keep it free and enable Justin to continue to help us along our journey of learning the guitar ;D

I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent resource!

Highly recommend it! I've been in it non stop since i downloaded it. Not only is my playing getting more organized, now im not afraid to write stuff down and work out what the next best thing for my tune im writing is! This is a life saver for me especially since I enjoy playing in alternate tunings. Who would have thought a little math and extra practice could open up such a vibrant world of music. The book is just as much a inspiration as Justin himself telling you not to give up ya know ?
