Dordrecht might not be the best city in Holland, but since our country is so small....we can get everywhere from Amsterdam to Rotterdam and everything in between!
The weather may be awefull, but hey you're from the UK right?

It the oldest Dutch city but if i was a tourist i would not go to my town if i wasnt intrested in architecture.

I can ly and say come over here its great but it would not be fair  LOL

If i was justin i would go to amsterdam , most if us dont mind to travel to Amsterdam because its fun to be there

Why should someone prefer amsterdam?
I would prefer paris (aka hell) to amsterdam, and that means a lot.
But dordrecht sounds really good actually,
not really small, not to big, seems to be a nice place.
I was just looking at some pictures and it's on my "places i have to visit one day" list.
Don't think to bad about your city.

Iam born here and live here all my life .

Read back to my first post here, If you are not intrested in old houses and architecture there is nothing else here to do, Well if  you come over while the blues festival is in town for days then that would suprise ppl because we have very good bands over here and they play in public all over the center .

Amsterdam aka Hell yep i can understand that but as a tourist or a vistit there is so much more , especially if it comes to good bands and other peroformers.


Dordrecht is nice if you like old houses and history, if not than i would avoid it like the plague.Remember Dordrecht is the place were you can get shot because of a traffic argument or even less.

We have a small centre out side of there there is xx--xx (nothing) .

But i would not mind if Justin came to Dordrecht I only would say dont expect to much of it here.

but it's in the afternoon cos also lots of people wanted to meet in Amsterdam - so afternoon in one and some beers in Amsterdam!

I know it's an old topic but I second the motion to come this way again. (Which I really don't need to do, as J. already told me he'll try to be back here when he does his teaching tour.)

But I disagree about the architecture. We shouldn't forget about the Biesbosch, people! It's a unique piece of nature and it's sitting on our doorstep. And, given the weather is OK, a really nice place to do a meetup and/or do some private lessons. If you know which direction to walk in, you can find some really beautiful and tranquil places. It's not just the historical inner city that's worth seeing.

So Justin, I really hope to see you here this summer!
