Hi Friends,

I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this correctly. 

I just wanted to point out that, here in the US, we call a lead a "cord."  It took me a couple of paragraphs to understand what the topic was all about. 

Fantastic article, though.  I knew that a cord (lead) could affect one's sound, but I did not realize that the effect could be so profound.  Thanks for the article and for a great site!!!
